About Mark Barra

A financial professional with nearly four decades of experience, Mark Barra founded Global Financial Consulting LLC in 2005 in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. With an international portfolio of clients, the company assists struggling businesses in becoming profitable by taking over as an interim executive manager and restructuring business and strategic operations. Mark Barra also owns two family entertainment centers in the cities of Bethel and Orange through Monster Mini Golf and Laser Tag.

Previously, he served as global managing director at Debis Financial Services where he oversaw the management of more than $2 billion worth of assets in areas ranging from commercial and private aircraft to equipment and machinery. His previous experience also includes positions as vice president of the Bank of Hawaii, senior vice president of Fleet Bank, and vice president of CityTrust.

Mark Barra holds an MBA in global management from the University of Arizona and a BS in finance from the University of Connecticut. He attends industry events such as Interferry, an international passenger ferry trade association, where he has spoken on a variety of business topics.
